SilverGoldBull Review 2026: The Best Place to Buy Physical Bullion Online?
This guide assesses SilverGoldBull on selection, pricing, shipping, and vault storage.
What SilverGoldBull Is
SilverGoldBull is a Canadian online bullion dealer founded in 2009. They sell gold bars, gold coins, silver bars, silver coins, platinum, and palladium — for direct delivery and vault storage. They serve customers across Canada, the US, the UK, and Europe. You're buying the actual metal, not a financial product that represents metal.
Selection
A broad selection of gold and silver products, plus platinum and palladium options. Products range from 1 gram gold bars to 1 kilogram silver bars. Notable:
- Canadian Gold Maple Leaf (.9999 fine, available 1oz down to 1/10oz)
- Gold bars from PAMP Suisse and Royal Canadian Mint — lower premiums than coins, efficient for pure storage
- Silver rounds — lowest premiums of any silver product
Pricing
Spot price displayed in real time. Premium over spot clearly shown for each product. Premiums range from 3-4% on large gold bars to 8-12% on small coins. Bank wire and cheque offer lower prices than credit card. Cryptocurrency payments accepted at bank wire rates.
Shipping
All orders insured during transit. Discreet packaging. Canadian customers 3-5 business days, US customers 5-10 business days. Signature required on delivery.
Vault Storage
Allocated, segregated vault storage — your specific bars and coins, separately identified as yours, not pooled. Annual storage fees competitive with other allocated storage providers.
Verdict
Verdict: legitimate, well-established, competitive pricing, good selection, transparent costs.
How to judge any bullion dealer, including this one
Dealer reviews are the easiest thing on the internet to write dishonestly, so here is the method rather than the verdict. Four things decide whether a dealer is good, and only one of them is the headline price.
The buy-back spread. Ask what the dealer will pay you for the same product today, not just what they charge. The gap between those two numbers is your real cost of a round trip, and a dealer with a keen sell price and a poor buy-back price is more expensive than one priced evenly. A dealer who will not quote a buy-back at all is telling you something.
Who holds the risk in transit. Fully insured shipping that requires a signature means the dealer carries the loss if a parcel goes missing. Uninsured or leave-at-door delivery moves that risk to you, and it is the single most common way people lose money on a bullion purchase.
Whether storage is segregated. If you use a dealer’s vault, the question is whether your specific bars are identified as yours or whether you hold a claim against a pool. That distinction is invisible right up until an insolvency, and then it is the only thing that matters.
Payment method versus price. Most dealers price bank transfer lower than card, because card fees are real. A quoted price that assumes bank transfer is not the price you pay if you check out with a card — compare like for like.
Our disclosure on this one
We hold an affiliate relationship with SilverGoldBull and earn a commission if you buy through the links on this page. That is a reason to be sceptical of us, not of them, so the section above is deliberately a method you can apply to any dealer — including to check our conclusion. Get a competing quote before you buy. If ours does not win on the four points above, buy from whoever does.
