1. Data Controller

Aureum & Co is operated by NorwegianSpark SA, organisation number 834 984 172, registered in Norway. We are the data controller for all personal data collected through this website.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Contact information: Name, email address, and message content when you use our contact form.
• Newsletter information: Email address when you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Usage data: Pages visited, time on site, browser type, IP address, and referring URLs — collected via Google Analytics 4 (see sections 7 and 8).
• Affiliate click data: Which affiliate links are clicked and when, for the purpose of commission attribution and editorial improvement.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Under GDPR Article 6, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Consent: Newsletter subscriptions, and the analytics and affiliate-attribution cookies you accept in our cookie banner.
• Legitimate interests: Cookieless website measurement, attribution of clicks on our affiliate links, security monitoring.
• Contract performance: Responding to contact form enquiries.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To respond to your enquiries and contact requests
• To send newsletters to subscribers (with opt-out on every email)
• To analyse website performance and improve content
• To attribute affiliate commissions correctly
• To comply with legal obligations

5. Data Retention

Contact form data is retained for 2 years. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until unsubscribe. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics property, after which Google deletes it. We do not sell personal data.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Complaint: Lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority) at datatilsynet.no.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may process your data:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google): Measures how the site is used. It runs in Consent Mode: until you accept cookies it sends cookieless measurement signals and stores nothing on your device; analytics cookies (such as _ga) are set only after you click Accept.
• Resend: Email delivery for contact form and newsletters.
• Affiliate networks: Impact, CJ (Commission Junction), Rakuten Advertising, Partnerize, Tradedoubler and Awin. When you follow one of our affiliate links, the network records the click and may set a cookie on its own domain so that a resulting purchase can be credited to us. Impact's tracking tag loads on our pages for every visitor; the CJ, Partnerize and Rakuten Advertising tags and the Tradedoubler banners load only after you click Accept.
• Google AdSense: We have applied to show Google ads on this site. Section 8 explains how Google's advertising cookies work and how to opt out.

8. Cookies

Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage for up to 12 months. With your consent we use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and affiliate-attribution cookies (CJ, Partnerize, Rakuten Advertising, Tradedoubler). You can accept or reject these in the cookie banner. Impact's tracking tag, which may set its own cookies, loads for every visitor (see section 7).

This site has applied to Google AdSense. Where Google ads are shown:
